Abuse Package

Our abuse package is often requested for school and hospital applications or anywhere additional security is required. It features high-strength foam, additional steel rails and additional strengthening welds.

Emergency-Release Hinge

The emergency-release hinge allows doors swinging into a room to be removed quickly and easily from the outside should the occupant barricade the door from the inside. Welded to the standard hinge, it maintains the security and abuse resistance of our standard door. It is also referred to as a psych or behavioral hinge.

Gasketing and Sweeps

Sound Package

Our sound package quiets the operation of our steel doors. It is available in 33 STC with 18-gauge and polystyrene core or 35 STC with 18 gauges and acoustic core.

Lite Kits and Louvers

Installed at the factory, our lite kits and louvers are available in a wide variety of standard configurations. We can also work with you to design and manufacture virtually any custom design.

Glazing

We offer wire glass in fire ratings of up to one and a half hours, and ceramic glazing in fire ratings of up to three hours, as well as laminated safety and tempered glass.

Kick plates, Mop Plates, Armor Plates and Hospital Edge Guards

Our bonded, wraparound design allows for protection up to the full height of the door, even on fire-rated doors.

High-Abuse Locking Channel Guard

Our high-abuse locking channel guard protects the leading edge of the locking channel in abusive environments, particularly those where there is heavy cart traffic.
