Innovation Comes Standard

Total Door Systems are engineered to perfectly combine life safety, security, flexible design, and aesthetic appeal. With all parts engineered, manufactured and assembled from Total Door Systems’ award-winning Waterford, Michigan plant, our integrated door systems arrive complete with fewer parts for streamlined installation, and savings to you in additional build-out and labor costs. What do you want to create today?

The Total Door Difference:

Total Door Systems uses parts and components designed, engineered and made to work together as a unified whole, instead of using separate parts from different manufacturers. The integrated system arrives complete with fewer parts, streamlining installation, and saving additional buildout and labor costs.

Total Door Systems meet all life safety and compartmentalization requirements without sacrificing the architect’s vision or functionality. Our doors meet all fire codes and ADA guidelines, are BHMA-certified, sustainably manufactured with a UL EPD, and protected by warranty.

Total Door Systems allow design flexibility, blending into the wall for a seamless design vision. The only limitation is your imagination.

Fire Rated Steel Door System

Total Door Systems’ fire rated doors follow ITS/Warnock Hersey specifications and include follow-up service. Testing for fire door assemblies is in compliance with ASTM E152, UL 10C, NFPA 252, and UBC standard 7-2 (1997) parts I and II, as well as with Canadian standard CAN4-S104-M80.IBC. Our doors are ADA-compliant and meet all local fire codes. They can be ordered in 1/16″ increments for an exact fit to your new or existing opening. All Total Door Systems fire rated doors feature smoke and draft protection.

Full-Height Locking Channel and Semi-Concealed Hinge

Full-Height Locking Channel
Total Door Systems proprietary full-height locking channel acts as a 5/8-inch deadbolt along the full length of the door. Its I-beam shape rotates when open and snaps shut over the full-length latch stop when closed. It provides exceptional security on single doors and eliminates vertical rods, floor hardware, coordinators, astragals and flush bolts on pairs and double-egress fire doors.

Full-Height, Semi-Concealed Hinge
Our full-height, semi-concealed hinges fit easily onto any new or existing frame. Our exclusive, dual pivot-point, semi-wide throw hinge allows the door to open a full 180 degrees and gives greater clearance width.

Flush Exit Device

Our exclusive flush exit device offers the smallest projection in the industry – only 1/8-inch when the door is open. This makes it virtually flush with the door. When closed, it pops out to 5/8”. This device meets all fire codes and ADA guidelines. It is available with an insert that matches the door finish.

Kick Plates

Like all Total Door hardware, kick plates, mop plates, stretcher, armor plates and hospital edge guards are installed at the factory. Our bonded, wrap-around design offers protection up to the full height of the fire door. Kick plates are available in stainless, brass and dark bronze.
