We are proud to share that Total Door Systems is now nationally certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by WBENC, the gold standard for women-owned business certification in the United States.

For 50 years, women have helped shape the leadership, innovation, and culture of Total Door Systems. This certification—earned through the Great Lakes Women’s Business Enterprise Council (Great Lakes WBENC)—formally recognizes that legacy and our continued commitment to women’s ownership, leadership, and decision-making at every level of the company.

This milestone reinforces our credibility with customers, partners, and organizations that value leadership, and long-term stability.

We will be adding the certification to our website, and provide a downloadable seal in the sales portal for your use.

Investing in the Future: Michigan Tech Partnership Expands for 2026

Innovation continues to be a cornerstone of Total Door Systems.

In 2025, we launched an exciting partnership with Michigan Technological University, working with a team of engineering students to design next-generation parts and products using our existing patents, components, and processes. The results—and the potential of student-led innovation—were so impressive that we’ve committed to making this collaboration an annual initiative.

On Friday, January 30, Michigan Tech students visited our plant to kick off the 2026 project, marking the next phase of this collaboration. We’re energized by the fresh ideas, technical insight, and future-focused thinking this partnership brings—and we look forward to turning innovative concepts into real-world solutions.
