Total Door Sustainability Extends to own Backyard

Many of you may not know that Total Door Systems’ sets aside 20 percent of our real estate division’s profits to sustainability initiatives. A project already under way is The North Saginaw Prairie Restoration Project. In its second year, this project is restoring green infrastructure that will allow for the expansion of urban agriculture and healthy food and beautiful flowers for residents at no cost to them.

This is all a part of Total Door Systems’ annual commitment to green and conservation infrastructure projects, ecological restoration, urban agriculture, and the arts.

Check out this brief video that features our own Emily Cunningham to learn more about this exciting project and stay tuned to learn about more initiatives underway.

Total Door Presents at CSI National Conference

Total Door Systems is expanding our presence at industry events across the nation. Candace’s presentation focused on how to create a safe opening, including how to plan for it, what to look for and what to avoid. The presentation also covered common issues found in the field and how to avoid incorrect pockets, frames, and hardware. Candace’s presentation focused on the significance of having proper fire and smoke protection and containment in place – and the ramifications for not mitigating those risks.

We hope you were in Houston to catch it!

Total Door Systems Takes Training Online

Following the successful beta testing of our installation support tool, we are moving on to the next phase of our remote training project and creating an entire suite of online training resources on TotalDoor.com. Taking the training resources online makes them universally accessible and allows them to be easily shared and used in any setting on any device.

The online training “toolbox” will provide a clear “how to” of the entire installation process, as well as searchable clips to help installers quickly find instruction resources on their devices while on site. Over time, additional materials that help installers and distributors troubleshoot or see how to perform maintenance or parts replacement tasks will be added to the Total Door Training Institute web pages, and tangential website pages.

We are also expanding the Total Door Partner Portal with downloadable tools for sales reps, including customizable email templates, sell sheets, and other materials. If you have an idea of downloadable tools that would help you share the Total Door installation process and training resources, let us know at sales@totaldoor.com!

New Partner Portal Layout

A reminder: The next time you log on to your Total Door partner portal, you’ll see a new view. The updated layout will prioritize access to key tools such as the DoorBuilder, important documents, project checklists, and will streamline access to product knowledge and other key resources.

You do not need to do anything to receive the updated design and your login will stay the same. But you should expect to see new tips and ideas on how to make the best use of the data and tools available on the portal page.

We expect you’ll find valuable analytics, customer information, and contact sheets through the portal and invite you to login often to make the best use of your Total Door Systems’ virtual hub.

Please let us know your insights or ideas of resources that you would like to see in your partner portal. As always, we have your back.
