Investing in the Future: Michigan Tech Partnership Expands for 2026

Innovation continues to be a cornerstone of Total Door Systems.

In 2025, we launched an exciting partnership with Michigan Technological University, working with a team of engineering students to design next-generation parts and products using our existing patents, components, and processes. The results—and the potential of student-led innovation—were so impressive that we’ve committed to making this collaboration an annual initiative.

On Friday, January 30, Michigan Tech students visited our plant to kick off the 2026 project, marking the next phase of this collaboration. We’re energized by the fresh ideas, technical insight, and future-focused thinking this partnership brings—and we look forward to turning innovative concepts into real-world solutions.
