Sam Haggard Talks Sales & Installation Training

“I believe all of our sales rep agencies should have a couple of folks attend the Sales and Installation training at Total Door as a refresher once a year or every couple of years,” said Sam Haggard of Southwest Architectural Sales in Celina, Texas. “I truly think that it would help them see the benefits of the product to go back and see the factory again.”

“It was better than the class we went through five or six years ago, and it was definitely a very much needed refresher,” he said. “The installation portion, being on the front end of the seminar and then having the sales portion at the end, was perfect.”

“I come from an installation and technical background,” said Sam, “but I think, to sell a product, you’ve got to really understand how all the parts and pieces work together.”

Thank you, Sam, for sharing your thoughts! We invite all sales reps and their teams to join us at one of our training sessions in our headquarters and take the factory tour.

While so many manufacturers are experiencing significantly longer lead times and delayed shipments, often due to the global supply chain issues, we are proud to say Total Door has a 95.2% on-time delivery record.

How do we do it? It could be because we have a strong relationship with our local supply base. It could be because we have efficient processes in place and work hard on continuous improvement. Or it could be we just have awesome people who go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right and done on time. It’s probably all that and much more!

Whatever the reasons, it’s something to be proud of. And it’s something you can use in your next sales pitch – because it’s a high standard the competition will have a hard time matching up to!
